Summerfield Browne Solicitors are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We are a modern and progressive law firm, and operate a new hybrid legal services business model. We can provide locum lawyers using two different contractual models.
We provide temporary recruitment services, which means that we supply locum lawyers and locum paralegals to clients to undertake the work under the direct supervision of the client. We use a standard temporary recruitment business model which means that we enter into a contract with the locum solicitor and also with you. We then supply the locum lawyer to you in return for a fee and the locum legal counsel then works under your supervision.
Alternatively, we can provide locum solicitors or locum paralegals through our outsourced legal services offering. This means that we undertake the legal/ project work for you in the form of outsourced provision of legal services. We supply such services pursuant to our standard terms of engagement, and any such work will be subject to our professional indemnity insurance.
Chris is excellent at getting to grips quickly with our members’ legal issues, and giving practical, succinct and jargon-free advice.
Why would you need to use a locum lawyer? There are a variety of reasons which include:

Our locum team includes highly experienced locum lawyers who have all either, worked for leading law firms, or held senior positions in law firms, as well as less experienced locum paralegals.
The advantage of using our locum solicitors services include:
If you require legal support, why not contact us to discuss how we can help you, by providing locum services to your business.
